About The Dominion House Church.

Building families and Imparting lives.

Our Story

Brief History on The Dominion House Church

Dominion House Church began on August 29, 2010, when a small group of friends gathered in faith to inaugurate a new work of God in Nottingham. The following Sunday, eleven members met to worship, pray, and commit themselves to the vision of building lives and imparting family through the undiluted Word of God. From those humble beginnings, the Lord has steadily grown a Christ-centered family marked by love, integrity, and service.

Over the years, our church has sought to be present and practical in our community. We have distributed Christmas gifts to bring joy and hope during the holidays, supported international students as they navigate life far from home, and cared for the bereaved with compassion and prayer. We have also stood with couples in stormy seasons, seeing marriages restored and families strengthened by God’s grace. Through worship, discipleship, and outreach, Dominion House has become a place of solace and growth—raising believers who carry the light of Christ into Nottingham and beyond.

What began with a handful of faithful hearts continues as a growing testimony of God’s faithfulness. As we look ahead, we remain committed to preaching Christ, serving our neighbors, equipping the next generation, and living out the Gospel together as one family in Him.

Brief bio

Get To Know Our Founders Better.

Pastor Hulston Omare and Pastor Mrs. Ese Omare—affectionately known as “Mummy P”—serve as the set man and woman of Dominion House Church, Nottingham. Together, they embody a gracious blend of spiritual depth, pastoral care, and unwavering commitment to building lives and imparting family through the undiluted Word of God.

Called into ministry over 30 years ago during a season of prayer and fasting, Pastor Hulston is an astute teacher of the Word and a compassionate leader. His journey began as a student pastor with Christ Ambassador Student Outreach (CASOR) at Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria, where he led and discipled more than a hundred Christian students. After graduation, he served as a branch pastor with The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), preaching and teaching with passion and integrity. In 2005, he moved to the United Kingdom to study Theology at the University of Wales, Cardiff, earning a Master of Theology. He later served briefly as a branch pastor at God’s Vineyard Church in Leicester before being led by the Lord to pioneer Dominion House Church in Nottingham.

Pastor Ese—an educator, coach, mentor, and mother—stands as the prayerful backbone of the ministry. With grace, wisdom, and a welcoming spirit, she leads the women’s arm of the church with dignity and candour, nurturing women and families to thrive in Christ. Her pastoral heart, practical counsel, and steadfast faith have endeared her to the church family and the wider community.

Together, Pastors Hulston and Ese shepherd with humility and hope: preaching Christ, strengthening marriages, caring for the hurting, and raising a generation of believers who love God, love people, and serve their world. They are blessed with three wonderful children—Igbunu, Erugba, and Runo—each actively involved in the ministry. Under their leadership, Dominion House continues to be a place of healing, growth, and mission—from Nottingham to the nations.
