About us
Brief History on The Dominion House Church
Dominion House Church began on August 29, 2010, when a small group of friends gathered in faith to inaugurate a new work of God in Nottingham. The following Sunday, eleven members met to worship, pray, and commit themselves to the vision of building lives and imparting family through the undiluted Word of God. From those humble beginnings, the Lord has steadily grown a Christ-centered family marked by love, integrity, and service.
Our beliefs
Core Beliefs
The Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, given by the Holy Spirit and fully trustworthy for faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21).
The Godhead
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in power, eternal in nature, and sovereign over all creation (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19).
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ, God incarnate, conceived by the Spirit and born of Mary, lived sinless, died for sin, rose bodily, ascended, and will return for His church and reign eternally (John 1:1,14; Lk. 1:34–35; 1 Cor. 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; 1 Thes. 4:16–17).
Salvation by Grace
We believe we are saved by grace through faith in Christ—not by works—receiving forgiveness, righteousness, and new life as the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:4–7; Romans 10:9–10).

We had been waiting for the fruit of the womb for 4 years, and God supernaturally answered us the same year we began worshipping at Dominion House Church. The pregnancy journey was challenging, but God saw us through every stage. Throughout the entire process, the church was so helpful and supportive, and we are truly grateful.
On the day of delivery, the enemy tried to show his ugly face, but God prevailed. Today, we are blessed with a bouncing baby boy, Light. All glory to God.

I thank God for His faithfulness and perfect timing in my journey into adult nursing at the University of Derby. After receiving my admission, I was asked to provide a CAS, even though I was already in the Uk. On that faithful day, after making my tuition fee payment, I was almost ready to complete the CAS application form as soon as I got back home. I saw my pastor driving along my street. He stopped and told me that God had instructed him to come to my house. When I explained my admission and the CAS request to him, he immediately told me not to apply for a CAS because I am on a dependent skilled visa. He explained that applying for a CAS would have changed my visa status and could have caused serious complications for my family and me.
Truly, the Holy Spirit ministered through him. God sent His servant at the right time to avert a problem I was about to walk into unknowingly. I am grateful to God for divine guidance, protection, and favour, and I give Him all the glory for ordering my steps in this nursing journey.
